Do you accept commissions?

Yes, I do. I will do pet portrait, wild life portrait commissions and primitive folk art commissions.

How long will it take to get my commissioned painting?

That depends. Small primitive paintings can be ready in a week. Small watercolor paintings may be ready to ship in 2 weeks. Medium to large size paintings (and highly detailed ones) will need to be judged on an individual basis. In addition, acrylics need extra time for the paint and varnish to cure. If you have an in-hands date, please plan ahead.

Are the paintings on your website ready to ship?

All paintings that are ready to ship will be indicated in the description. Some listings are for commissioned pieces. Some prim designs have sold but can be made to order.

What type of paints do you use?

I paint in artist grade watercolor, gouache, and acrylic. I occasionally paint in pastels and colored pencil.

Who makes your peg rails?

My husband. You can find his fine furniture quality peg rails on Etsy and soon, on his website: Shaker Woodworks.

Where are you located?

I live in the heart of New Hampshire in the Lakes Region. All paintings and peg rails are made in NH.

How do you ship? Will you ship UPS?

I ship USPS, first class for small items, and Priority Mail for commissions and larger paintings. UPS is available upon request.

What is Dreaming Owl Art? What does it mean?

I love owls. Dreams are a form of creative expression and can be desires for the future. Both owls and dreams can be interpreted as a connection to the mystical nature of life. If you combine all these elements, that is what Dreaming Owl Art means to me.

How can I pay?

We use PayPal as our payment processor, so we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Or, you can pay using your PayPal balance.

Is your site secure?

Yes. You pay through PayPal, the world's premier electronic payment solution, not through this site. We never even see your credit card number; PayPal just tells us that you've paid and we ship you your stuff. We get your money through PayPal later.

Do I have to have a PayPal account to buy?

No, you can pay with your credit card without a PayPal account.
